The operation of standby holds billets at forging temperature. This allows for immediate start-up after short stoppages.
Coil Shuttles enable coils to be changed automatically in less than three minutes.
Automatic billet emptying allows last billet in the coil to be forged.
Microprocessor control provides maximum billet control throughout the heating process. The processor also has the ability to recall previous control settings, calculate running parameters, and allow for management information feedback.
